C++98 Overview

C++98 is a first official standard for C++. Approved by ISO in 1998 (official name: ISO/IEC 14882:1998).

You can recognize programs written for this standard by usage of NULL constant, lack of "override" keyword and basic for loops (same as in C).

C++98 has been replaced in 2003 by a new standard - C++03 which is a corrected version of initial standard (minor changes).
